Steps to reproduce:

This just started earlier this week.  I run Thunderbird in a normal window roughly half my screen size.  When I check new messages (and some are available), the green bar (checking messages) appears, it starts jumping.  During this, the window size increases every 3-5 seconds or so. 


Actual results:

The window size keeps growing beyond the screen size.   It works fine maximized, but this behavior seems consistent with the normal window and new messages being loaded. It has been consistent since I first noticed it earlier this week 


Expected results:

The normal window size should remain constant.
