The red settings wheel on the right side does an unexpected animation of its own kind.

The settings icon is basically some linear gradients. The issue seems reproducible even with a simple gradient and nothing else:

Some frames it renders, and others a black rectangle is drawn. Or if the gradient has transparency then nothing is shown (presumably a transparent rect is drawn)

This was fixed by bug 1510074 (WR PR #3352)
