I originally wrote a version of this patch for https://phabricator.services.mozilla.com/D8247 but it seems like I might not need it (?) so I'm moving it over into a separate bug & simplifying it.
My patch broke stuff & I don't have time to fix it, so I'm going to unassign.

Per conversation with :kmoir, I'm going through untriaged bugs in her components and marking the ones which look to be enhancements/tasks with the enhancement severity to get them out of the triage queue.
