From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530
BuildID: 2002053012
I sent a message (with an attachment, but probably doesn't matter) to 27
addresses, all of them as To:. Only the first 22 were actually sent the message,
and only these 22 adresses are shown as the message recepients in the Sent
folder. There was no warning or error message.
Sorry about reproducing, I don't have enough dummy e-mail addresses at my
disposal to test on.
Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
1. New message.
2. Go to address book, add a lot of recepients to To: field.
3. Send.
4. Look at the message recepients in the Sent folder.
Actual Results: The list of message receipents contains only the first 20 or so
addresses.
Expected Results: Warn about too long list of recepients either when building
the list or when sending the message, and ask for some of the addresses to be
moved to CC: field.

if recipient are already missing from the message in the sent folder, that means
it's a message composition problem and not a smtp one. Reporter, are you able to
reproduce this problem all the time?

It happened twice, but I can't test it easily because I don't want to send
stupid messages to everybody in my address book. At least not too often.

the easy way to test is to use fake email addresses. Replace all the .com by
.xom and then verify the message in the sent folder...

Also, are you using fancy email address ("Jean-Francois
Ducarroz"<ducarroz@netscape.com>) or simple one like ducarroz@netscape.com? any
comma, quote or double quote in the email address you are using?

I've tried and I can't reproduce it, sorry. It could be some problems
accumulated in my profile from earlier versions of Mozilla, and from account
changes. "Send Later" also doesn't work for me.

Reporter - I've tried reproducing this and can't. I listed 28 email addresses in
the TO: field, all from my address book, and sent a message with a .jpg
attachment. When I checked the SEND folder, all 28 recipients were listed. You
stated on 6/8 that you also couldn't reproduce - is that still the case? Thanks

Marking as WORKSFORME. Reporter, let me know if you're able to reproduce this
again and I'll reopen.
