Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:62.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/62.0

Steps to reproduce:

I visited Youtube.com to watch some video tutorials, then as usual I double tapped the screen to forward video for 10 sec and nothing happened and after a while i figured out that the video was actually playing using the browser and not the application.

Actual results:

While using YouTube and as well as Gmail, both opened in the browser and not the using the phone apps.

Expected results:

When we open YouTube or Gmail or any other website, which website's application is developed on google play store, it should ask if we want to access that page in the application or in the browser itself. Firefox does not ask to open your mobile phone's app, instead it just opens them into browser window.
usually browsers ask for permissions like,
"Firefox would like to open YouTube app, allow or deny."
Not a security issue that needs to stay hidden.
