From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.79 [en]C-CCK-MCD {RSC} (Windows NT 5.0; U)
BuildID: 2002052918
My outgoing IMAP mail server just changed and I can't figure out how to update
the name. Mozilla Help says to start from mail window, choose edit, then Mail &
Newsgroups Account Settings. Then "Select the Outgoing Server (SMTP) category".
THIS IS THE ERROR. The instructions are not clear enough for me to find the
Outgoing Server field. So I can't even mail this from the Mac (without zapping
my old mail installation and starting from scratch) and I have to mail this from
a PeeCee :-(
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. follow instructions on changing outgoing mail IMAP server name
2. can't find the field where I can change the name
3.
Actual Results: re-read instructions. same as reported above (i.e. no way found
to change outgoing server)
Expected Results: Either modify help file to more easily point the way, or
reveal an "outgoing mail server edit button"
Pete, "Outoing Server (SMTP)" is one of the categories in the left-hand pane of the Account
Settings dialog. Look for it there. Since outgoing servers aren't the same thing as your incoming
IMAP or POP accounts, it's listed separately.
I suppose this bug could be an RFE to label the left-hand pane as "Categories," since it's not
labelled with any header now. That way, if the user is instructed to look for a "category," there
will be some in-dialog indication where it can be found. I'll change this bug and confirm it as
such.

Adding jglick to the Cc: list. Another bug where users are having problems
finding how to associate the SMTP Server with the account.
