Can't choose the file the bookmarks are stored in (therefore can't share bookmarks with other profiles)

Every profiles stores its bookmarks in %profile-directory%\bookmarks.html
I can't choose which file in which directory I want to be my bookmarks file.
I am talking about the option "Open Bookmarks File" in Netscape Communicator 4
I want all my profiles to use the same bookmarks file, in order to synchronize
their bookmarks. I can't do that.

vrfy dupe
fwiw you can manually edit prefs.js (while mozilla is not running) to make one
mozilla profile use the same bookmarks file that other things use. (no
guarantees that they won't trip on eachother.)
i suspect that file>open will be made available shortly (I just found someone
willing to work on it)
