In Tools > Import > Mail, it would be nice if an "Email file (.eml)" option is
suggested as well.

Actually, it's possible to save an email as .eml file which is in fact just
plain text file, but the revert mechanism isn't possible.  Quite weird!

Right now, to "import" those plain-text email files, I have to quit totally
Mozilla and put the files inside the appropriate folder and restart Mozilla. 
Otherwise, Mozilla won't check if there's any new files inside the folder after
it starts.

I think this is related to bug 11076 - if it gets fixed and .eml files open in
the mailnews UI, then you should be able to file any .eml using the
Message->Copy command.
