i am using mozilla build 2002031005. if i do bookmarks, manage bookmarks (ie command B) then the buttons 'properties' and 'rename' seem inactive. these buttons can be 'pushed' however no action results if an individual bookmark is selected. if a bookmark folder is selected then these buttons then work. sorry for the previous innaccurate report

Yes, you have first to select a bookmark or a folder to rename it or seeing its properties. As Adrian said, your build is not suited to report bug for mozilla.
