Description

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.8) Gecko/20020204
BuildID: 2002053012

I can't get taskbar to open any other mozilla application. Infact, once
I have opened one mozilla app (for example browser), I can't open another app
(composer or mail) even from the program menu. When I quit all the windows there
is alteast one process that stays which I have to kill manually. I was using
Mozilla 0.9.8 and installed mozilla 1.0 in a different directory. 0.9.8 is still
usable.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open browser
2. Click on any item in taskbar
3. Quit mozilla

Actual Results: Nothing happens when you click on the taskbar. When you quit,
atleast
one mozilla process still remains.

Reporter:
Please do this:
Delete all file in Profile/Chrome/ [not mozilla.org\mozilla\chrome !]
(you will loose all third-party Themes and language packs)

There were two files in defaults/profile/US/chrome
userChrome-example.css and userContent-example.css. I removed these files both
from mozilla0.9.8 and mozilla1.0 but that didn't help. I see the same problem.
If it helps two more observations.

1. When I startup mozilla1.0 it goes to
http://wp.netscape.com/browsers/6/su_setup6.html
2. I can't even spawn new windows. Same problem as mentioned above. Nothing happens
and when I quite mozilla, the process still remains.

Have you installed over an older build ?
If yes do this :
uninstall mozilla, delete all files in c:\programs\Mozilla.org\Mozilla\ (but
save your plugins) and reinstall mozilla.

Works now!
I uninstalled all previous versions of mozilla and netscape. and when I deleted
files from Profiles/chrome where my profile is stored
(and not in mozilla/defaults/US/chrome), it started working.
Thanks for your help.
