The problem persist if I check and uncheck the dialog.

If I check the snippet preference, restart firefox, uncheck the preference, the snippet do not show for the session.
But they appear when the browser is restarted, ignoring the value of the preference.
A workaround for this bug is check the preference, restart the browser and uncheck it.

This was fixed in Firefox 64.
