User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0 Steps to reproduce: Our systems (Linux - Debian Stretch) used the "Tab Mix Plus" extension in Firefox. Then version 60 of Firefox ESR arrived from the Debian repository and broken compatibility with the "Tab Mix Plus" extension. This caused (among many other things) the mouse wheel scroll over tabbar to no longer switch tabs. Actual results: In Firefox the mouse wheel scroll over tabbar no longer switches tabs (it just slides the tabs to show them if there is too many tabs to fit the tabbar width). This caused me to resort to UserChrome hacking to enable the mentioned "Tab Mix Plus" functionality. Expected results: Firefox should make it at least optionally possible for a user to switch tabs using the mouse wheel scroll over the tabbar (at least a hidden about:config option would be nice). Although some may see a problem with this functionality on a tabbar with too many tabs to fit the tabbar width, in practice it is very nicely usable. The tabbar slides and switches to the next tab at the same time when scrolling with the last visible tab selected (personally that is all I and my users need). But according to info available in bug 593653 (comment 2) and bug 281192 there was even a mechanism to slide the tabs in tabbar when the last visible tab was scrolled to.
