Through my interaction with W3C mailing lists, one particularly useful feature is the Archived-At header they include in list email. It provides you with a canonical URL to where the email has been archived online. One example from a recent email I sent: > List-Id: <public-browser-tools-testing.w3.org> > Archived-At: <https://www.w3.org/mid/0DCE5D9A-E792-4D50-BAB4-80E4E88F9B2F@sny.no> The Archived-At header lets one more easily reference email threads in other contexts, such as in discussions and chat. If f we would include a similar header poiting to either Pipermail or Google Groups (depending on what the list uses) it would take the stress out of connecting an email you had previously sent to an HTML document in another interface. The Archived-At header is defined here: https://tools.ietf.org/id/draft-duerst-archived-at-08.html

Support for this header is in Mailman3 (not mailman2) and we have no plans of moving to mailman3.
