Details
I installed some themes from http://themes.mozdev.org (including Gold, Sky
Pilot, Internet Explorer, Orbit, Lo-Fi Classic, Pinball, Wood and maybe one or
two more). I switched between them fine, however some came up with "You have
selected a theme which was designed for an earlier version of Mozilla. (blah).
Press OK to delete this theme." I deleted any themes this happened for. However,
when I tried to select the Modern Theme again, it too came up with that message.
I'm using Moz 1.0, which has been upgraded from a clean 0.9.8 (or so) installed
through 0.9.9, 1.0rc1, rc2 and possibly even rc3.

i can't find it now, but i've seen this reported before, and IIRC, it's caused
by older "modern" theme chrome stuck in the user profile.
reporter: try closing mozilla, deleting the chrome folder in your mozilla
profile (probably under C:\Windows\Application
Data\Mozilla\Profiles\<profile>\<random>.slt\), and then see if it works. thanks.

Well, deleting the chrome folder didn't work, and the uninstaller hung. So
I deleted portions of Program Files\mozilla.org\Mozilla, reinstalled and
it seems to be working fine now.
