Details

The timeline is currently drawn as an overlay. 

There are a couple of problems with that
- it overlays the content
- it can be far away from the toolbox if it is undocked
- the middleman is tougher to program in

The timeline should be on top of the toolbox
- it feels better when the toolbox is on the side or undocked
- doesn't overlay the content
- is easier to develop
