What is your setting in :
Edit\preferences\Navigator\Internet Search\[] Open the sidebar search tab .. ?

the settings there are:

- Searchengine google
- open when search results are available
  (obviously this triggers the opening of the sidebar,
  but this should not happen! should happen only for URLs from
  google.com or similar - at least that is what i expected)
- "Advanced"

bugzilla is a search engine (see the availible search engines)

-> invalid (works as expected even if you selected google as your search engine)

in the search sidebar?

Re-resolving as invalid.
Testing with a current CVS build, Linux, bugzilla appears as search engine
listed in both sidebar as well as preferences.

Reporter: Please address general questions to the newsgroups, and also search
Bugzilla before filing reports.

I didn't realize that in different categories,
different search engines appear.
