Needs to be applied on top of bug 1505318. This is a port of https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/78f9d59c280f https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/56ad43d18220 and https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/bae65a2ae47d I couldn't test the second part for Win7 Aero but this should be straight forward to work.
