Steps to reproduce:

Open browser.. 
Open some tabs with sites  like https://tesam.pl , https://pl.forgeofempires.com/, https://www.twitch.tv/ sit on them some time klick some places and back to the site Tesam.pl and when i want to type the product number, browser laggy/slow down everything what i want to write on it. When i close browser serching tab on Tesam.pl back to normal working.


Actual results:

Lagging all proces what i do in browser


Expected results:

Normal work without problems and dont must to close browser.

Hi, could you go to about:support and provide information about your system here (especially if you have any add-ons installed).

It sounds like some of the websites might be consuming a lot of memory and not releasing any. Can you take a look at the about:memory page and take a report right after you open these websites, and then a report much later when the problem is happening? (Click in Measure and Save for that)

You could attach the files here and I can take a look

Hi Mariusz,

this about:memory snapshot doesn't show any major memory problems.. Was it from when the browser was in the problematic state?

I'd like to ask you to try two things:

- 1 - start Firefox with all extensions disabled to see if the problem still happens (to do this, go to about:support and click in "Restart in Safe Mode")

- 2 - Install the Gecko Profiler extension so that you can take a performance snapshot right when the problem is happening. Here's a step-by-step guide: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Performance/Reporting_a_Performance_Problem

Basically, just install that extension, and when you notice that slowness when typing in the website, start the profiler (Ctrl+Shift+1), type for a while to trigger the problem, and then stop the profiler (Ctrl+Shift+2)

After the new tab with the performance measurements finishes loading, click the Share button

I check its lag too but not so much.. i cant enable online game in safe mode so i cant see the real difference between two of them. I cant enable the Geco program too to see what else working bad.

Ah, OK. The profile is really helpful, thank you. We hang when trying to sort out the items to show in the autocomplete box (I guess in tesam.pl) because of some issues with the code for the autocomplete box. We've already fixed this in the next version of Firefox, in bug 1503342. So Firefox 64 (which is in beta at the moment, download from https://beta.mozilla.org/ ) should have this fixed.

Alternatively, you could try clearing your form history (move the formhistory.sqlite file in your profile folder somewhere else) until Firefox 64 is released (scheduled for the middle of December, https://wiki.mozilla.org/RapidRelease/Calendar ) - but then you'd lose access to any saved form fill entries, which may not be an acceptable solution for you.
