From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530 BuildID: 2002053012 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://www-personal.engin.umich.edu/~petersj/tc450/TechnicalSpecifications.htm 2. Search for "illustration is described in detail below" 3. Below should be an image. 4. Right-click in the blank space 5. Choose "view image". It is viewed now The page seems to be exported to .html from a Micro$oft .doc file. Anyway this case is useful to be studied due to the possible existance of a Mozilla bug and not a conversion mistake.
This problem was not happening last week - Go to www.yahoo.com using windows 2000 or perhaps nt to see the problem.
Mmm... excuse me, what does it have to do with www.yahoo.com?
I received this from you all. ------- Additional Comments From moz@msux.cjb.net 2002-06-10 07:26 ------- Mmm... excuse me, what does it have to do with www.yahoo.com? I said that if you want to see it or test it use mozilla with windows 2000 and go to www.yahoo.com to see what is going on. This is just one example. It worked fine last week, but this week something happened and images fail to load.
> use mozilla with windows 2000 and go to www.yahoo.com to see what is going on. To see Yahoo works correctly, really. With windows 2000 > This is just one example. It worked fine last week, but this week something happened and images fail to load. I didn't notice any problem except in the bug page.
Looks like it's tryng to do weird stuff with vml. This is probably due to it being non-standard markup (http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://www-personal.engin.umich.edu/~petersj/tc450/TechnicalSpecifications.htm). Bug perhaps shouldn't look so bad.
Here is another test page to see the bug. Go to URL http://standard.baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/b1/show?page=buzzindex&lid=14635 After viewing it there, then use I.E. or Netscape 4.7
I've got win2000. Under my Mozilla 2002053012, Netscape 4.79 and Internet Exploiter 5.00 the page http://standard.baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/b1/show?page=buzzindex&lid=14635 is seen correctly. The page I reported is seen badly, so we have two different bugs there.
This URL http://standard.baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/b1/show?page=buzzindex&lid=14638 displays fine with other browsers. I use Mozilla build 2002053012 I have noticed sometimes some of the images will show up, but not all. Could this be a timing condition in that the page is displayed prior to all images show up and the page being marked as "DONE", but should not be?? This could expaine some of the inconsistancies that I see. I also noticed that when I view page source and then media tab, the images that are within the same directory display, but those referred to out of the current directory do not show up. I sure hope this helps resolve this.

In my Mozilla 2002053012 this is what it is seen It keep thinking again those are two different bugs. By the way, have you seen the Mozilla icon? :-) Really nice, I changed it with the "Resource Hacker" program.
Additional information --- I cleared cache and for the URL that had the most problems, the images all appear now without a problem. However, I have several internal pages (internal behind Ford firewall) that may present ok the first time, but as I repeatedly refresh the page, images come and go. The images that are on the local servers - to me - always come up ok. The servers that some images come from style sheets do not always present the images.
Confirming original issue list in summary. However, the problem is probably caused by the schemea implementation that is used heavily in this document.
