Steps to reproduce:
Highlighted an entry in address book
clicked the delete button
nothing happened
double-clicked item
editor opened
cleared field with bad data
clicked save
nothing happened
clicked cancel
editor closed
Actual results:
same
Expected results:
item should have deleted
edit should have been saved

1. Help > restart with addons disabled
2. run the problem steps
3. what is in error console ctrl+shift+J?

Looks like bug 1483480. If the entry is provided via LDAP, you can't edit/delete it.
