I had many tabs open, so the data in about:performance took a while to first be displayed.

As it was taking a while, I was naturally moving the mouse around impatiently, and I thought there was a bug in the page because it would never show anything. Then I realized that after I stopped the mouse it appeared after the 5s delay.
