Details

If the user leaves the app in PBM, it should launch in PBM. Vice-versa if the user leaves the app in normal browsing mode.

This seems to already be working. Did we already implement this inadvertently? Asking QA to verify what I'm seeing.

Confirming the behavior in the description on master c0326b166f. When leaving PBM the app launches in PBM when "Close Private Tabs when leaving Private Browsing" is disabled. When "Close Private Tabs when leaving Private Browsing" is enabled, the app starts in Normal Browsing.

Justin, I retested this bug and I think that the behavior from the description was present since version 14.0. It's not something that was recently fixed. From my understanding, this feature request may refer to the following scenario: 1. Go to Private Browsing and close all tabs 2. Close Firefox from App Switcher 3. Re-open Firefox Actual results: - Firefox is re-opened in Normal Browsing. Expected results: - Firefox should re-open in Private Browsing and focus on a New Private Tab. Robin, can you please confirm that this is the behavior we want?
