what you have:

[ ] reporter
[ ] QA contact
[ ] CC list member
[ ] commenter

what you should have:

why: if a browser needs to render selects as checkboxes it can (eg lynx)

the cons of the current interface is that if you want to quickly select owner,
reporter and QA contact it takes multiple clicks. w/ a multiselect you can just
drag select the ones you want.

I'm not sure about this. People are not very well acquainted with multiselect
listboxes, and while they certainly are a great thing for stuff like products,
I'm a bit torn about using them as a generic replacement for checkboxes...

I agree with jouni. Nobody besides you ever complained about this part of the UI.
