RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 69486

(Reporter: dneri98, Assigned: morse)

Details

Build: 1.0 Final (2002-05-30-12) Steps to reproduce: 1. Find or create an <IMG> tag with a port specified in the link (e.g. www.server.com:81) 2. Block images from that site 3. Reload to see if image is blocked Results: Image loads as if it were never blocked. Menu says "unblock images from server." All images at the base site (e.g. www.server.com) are blocked, but not the ones with the specified port. Expected: All ports from the site (e.g. www.server.com) should be handled as the same "site" and blocked. Notes: - Bugzilla search is down; I hope this is not a dup. - Based on other categories and continuity, shouldn't the component be "Image Manager" instead of "Image Blocking"? Perhaps someone should file this as a bug?
Duplicate of Bug 69486, "Image blocking does not work on images whose SRC attribute contains port number". For a sort of good workaround, see Bug 69486 comment 22.
