keepCurrentInView="true" allows the selected item to be scrolled to view automatically when the tree is resized.

It is unused in m-c, but heavily used in c-c.
At least as far as CustomElement-ifying the XBL portion of tree this won't add any extra cost - it looks like this is just a getter. So I think it's OK to hold off on this one, and then not implement it into a new DOM-based tree widget.
