From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530 BuildID: 2002053012 in any theme I have tried so far the scrollbar bodies (not the thumbs) update themselves with repeating sequences of "garbage" patterns when the scrollbar is interacted with. it is not a critical problem but it is a visual blemish. note that it even occurs when the mouse is dragged perpendicular to the scrollbar's axis of movement (e.g. when you move the mouse right to left when dragging the vertical scrollbar). Also, this appears in any scrollbar, from the main page scrollbars to text entry scrollbars. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. find a page or item that forces scrollbar usage 2. use the scrollbars 3. note the patterns displayed in the scrollbar bodies as you move the thumb Actual Results: strange patterns filled the scrollbars Expected Results: the "normal" light greyish scrollbar fill i marked this "minor" instead of "trivial" because it is a little off-putting, and may confuse some users.

wfm with win2k build 20020611.. Which graphic card do you use ? Have you tried to update your drivers ?
this is reproducible on two of the win2k boxen here at work... mine has an ATI 3D rage pro agp 2x video card in it. my co-worker has the same card. An nvidia-based pc does not exhibit this problem.
