JSS hosts jss1.dmz.mdc2.mozilla.com jss-dev1.dmz.mdc2.mozilla.com Database hosts jss1.db.mdc2.mozilla.com jss-dev1.db.mdc2.mozilla.com Virtually any afterhours timeslot is fine and I'm also fine with all the hosts being patched in the same sessions. Please ensure that the Database hosts are shut down last and brought up first, since the JSS will not like being disconnected from the database. The database servers are just mysql instances that are very standard. The JSS hosts just run a tomcat web app basically.

How about I start patching the DBs and 15m later I do the front end? around Midnight would this be ok?

:usul as long as the DBs are done patching and are available before the front ends come back I'm +1 to that!
