Android O issue perhaps? For Oreo compatibility, the Updater service was switched to a JobIntentService, which internally uses a different implementation when running on Oreo and up, as compared to previous Android versions, so a bug like that might be possible.

The further discovery showed if you wait some time, the updates are presented and the issue doesn't occur. Tested with OnePlus 5T(Android 8.1.0) and Samsung Galaxy S8 (Android 8.0). Taking that, I will close this issue as Works for me, thanks.
