User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.102 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: Eg. you schedule a cron on your server and the result from the script is a text of eg. 20/30 MB. Maybe even less, I didn't try but 20MB is already enough to let it break. Ok, you could send the output to a text file instead of directly by mail, but indeed that's already a text file and it shouldn't needed, it should work fine anyway. Is it an issue in Thunderbird performance itself or from Windows 10? Actual results: Thunderbird really slow and not responding anymore Expected results: Just read the email as usual and even quickly search for something into...
So is the message body 20MB or an attachment? Related to bug 1505245? Does it get better if you switch pref mail.display_struct to false?
Hello, thanks for your answer. That's just text into message body. In this case, mail.display_struct to false makes a little difference...that is, if message body 20+ MB it becomes unresponsive for a while and then it seems to better manage the message body...but at the beginning is really slow the same

Can you email me a sample?

Unfortunately this isn't useful unless we have a testcase. (But it's likely already reported)
