User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.110 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: Step1: Open a Web Extension Popup window. Step2: 'Alt' + 'Tab' to any other program. Actual results: Web-extension popup window closes. Expected results: I have a long running process for which I want to keep my popup window of web extension open and simultaneously be able to switch to other programs. This behaviour is present is Google Chrome Extensions, so I reckon Firefox would have the same behaviour as well. I haven't been able to find a way to do this. Is this functionality missing in Firefox ?
Product: Firefox → WebExtensions
I have confirmed that the described reproduction in Nightly v65.0a1, Beta v64.0 and Release v63.0.3 in Windows 10 and Mac OS. I do not know whether this is actually a valid issue. I will leave this decision to a webextension developer.
