Details

We created a caching module to store wire protocol responses in an S3 bucket, since Mercurial 4.8+ now supports content redirect responses. We will need to add support for multiple buckets in different regions, and support resolving the correct bucket to use such that we transfer data within datacentres where possible (and by extension use the lowest latency bucket to serve the response).
