I already covered that in this issue: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1506203 I guess you could say this issue here blocks my issue, but I think it's more useful to do everything at once. My guess is that it's not much difference in the amount of work to do all at once. :Gijs mentioned a link where to get started if someone wants to take it on the other issue.

Any good reason this should be OS specific? That is what I would expect on windows with "browser.tabs.loadInBackground" true, at least.

Any news on this? It's really unfortunate that we had to wait more than a decade for the behaviour of cmd-enter to be closer to Safari, and we are still not aligned with its conventions.

The more time we wait to reverse the two keyboard shortcuts, the more people get accustomed to the wrong ones. This should have a higher priority.
