User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.14; rv:64.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/64.0

Steps to reproduce:

Install Firefox 64 from scratch with default theme.

Type in anything in the address bar, or select it.

Actual results:

The text is lightgray/white on MacOS bright accent colours in dark mode, impossible to read.

Expected results:

The text should invert to blacker colours.

Hi reporter,

Thank you for taking the time to report this.
I verified this on the latest Firefox versions and it would seem that on Release the fonts used in the address bar and is not as bold and visible as it is on the DevEdition build or Nightly build.

I have added a screenshot to better illustrate the difference.

As I'm not exactly sure if this is a bug, a possible enhancement or it is a setting that can be changed, I'll add it to Firefox:Theme component, for an advised opinion.

Isn't this fixed in 65 by bug 1486204?

@masayuki: Thanks - I didn't see that ticket.

Looking forward to when 65 lands stable.
