Wow... 1.1 alpha is bad stuff on my Win2K The bug is that there is nothing in the main window renders at all besides the status bar, and that only shows up when I create a new profile. Here are the screen shots: http://dx.northern.ca/mozilla/Mozilla-browser-1.1-alpha-new-profile.bmp http://dx.northern.ca/mozilla/Mozilla-browser-1.1-alpha-old-profile.bmp http://dx.northern.ca/mozilla/Mozilla-mail-1.1-alpha.bmp Appolgies about the bit maps...
god, bmps (very big) :-( Do you see this only with a new profile and not with an old one ? If yes do this : uninstall mozilla, delete all files in c:\programs\Mozilla.org\Mozilla\ (but save your plugins) and reinstall mozilla.
The problem exists both with new and old profiles... I also have Netscape 7.0 Preview #1 installed on there (but I've never had any issues with having both on at the same PC in the past)... I will try uninstalling Mozilla and reinstalling it when I get home to see if that fixes it.
Uninistalling and reinstalling fixed the problem at home... I did nothing to the profiles and both the 1.1 and the 1.0 profiles worked. I'm going to try installing over 1.0 at work and see if I get the same problem... then we would know that 1.0 would have to be uninstalled first.
No problems installing over my 1.0 at work (also Win2K) with the SEA build (I used the net installer at home).
-> worksforme This is possible a problem from a very old build. (installed Mozilla over build x over build y ..)

1.0 -> 1.1a Is 1.0 (GA) considered a 'very old build' already? Time flies ;-)
Product: Browser → Seamonkey
