151415 - Browser does not accept anything I try to type in

I just installed Mozilla and tried to use it.  I accessed Google and when I
placed the cursor onto the box to tyoe in a search argument my typing was not
recognized.   I could not SEE what I was typing.  I closed Mozilla, opened
Netscape, tried the same thing and it worked fine.  I am disappointed...

I am unable to duplicate this problem on Windows 2000 SP2. I went to 
www.google.com, www.slashdot.org, and www.ebay.com. At each site, I was able to 
enter text in the field of my choice. I saw the text immediately, and the web 
pages' CGI scripts returned appropriate responses. 

Can you please tell us what build or version of Mozilla displayed this problem? 
Also, have you tried the most recent build? Perhaps the problem has been 
resolved.
