Details

When a checkbox is disabled it displays as a grey box. It is not possible to determine whether it is checked or unchecked. We use this type of object in dynamic web sites to show that a particular option is selected (or not selected) but that the user does not have the right to change that setting. Other browsers (iCab, IE) display this correctly as a greyed out checkbox.
