I am using Win32 build 1999092808 on Windows 2000 RC2 Try going to the "Debug" menue in Apprunner, selecting "Viewer Demo's", and choosing #13 DHTML. This used to work until recently. The different layers would move around the screen. It always took up a lot of processing time, but at least you got some bang for the buck. Now, the processing time is still being used up, but nothing moves at all. All the layers stay exactly where they were originally loaded. I suspect this is a reflow issue rather than a javascript issue. The javascript seems to be running, but the DHTML presentation does not move. This all seems related to bugs: 12761, 14277, and 14409 to give some reference. I also tried the http://www.narain.com/gecko/ page that is referenced in these other bug reports. It is supposed to have an animation with images flying in, but nothing but the background image shows up. The only problem that this page used to have was that after the animation worked, the javascript links on the images were reported as "undefined" even though they were defined. Now, nothing works. This one has been working for a while now. The DHTML demo didn't work on a number of builds in September and early October. I seems to have worked late October and right up to the present day. I'm marking this as WORKSFORME However, some of the other bugs that I referred to before are still valid and should be looked into. Narrin's gecko site still doesn't quite work as it should, although it works much better than it did when I first reported this bug. Jake
