In your steps trying to 'reproduce it' did you let videos play for more than a few moments? As the problem persists when I went back to FF to try again, after being on holiday, and even with a brand new profile, and a "refresh" before that, it still does it after playing a couple videos. And it is also interesting what little reading online i did on vac., was a forum where people were complaining about the exact same problem, so pretending it doesn't exist is a unique move..but by all means do that with the 'new' Firefox. Remember when the browser actually worked good, and it's also interesting the solution people talked about in those comments I seen was also to go to chrome, a browser which I wish I didn't have to use, but at least's plays videos on yt correctly. btw, I used to be a Nightly user for yrs., until I ran into to many problems w/it. The problem is without any addons running, only 2 installed on the profile, and is completely intermittent, sometimes after 15 mins. of vids, sometimes after an hr.

Not only the developers are using Firefox the whole day for their browsing, we have millions of users including me playing youtube videos all the time without seeing that problem.
I played last night during my nightly work shift 6h yt videos without problem.

Well then can you please Provide the info requested in Comment 3 "Please open about:support (enter as URL), select "copy text to clipboard, open the windows notepad and paste the clipboard data, save the file and attach the file using the "attach file" link in this report page." also the links from the other forums you mentioned having the same problem it might help with some extra steps, I tried different builds different systems and I couldn't reproduce this issue at all and yes I do have Tabs opened with Music, live streams, even 4k videos and they load ok.
You mentioned add-ons can you Provide the List of the add-ons you have installed ?
Or any other settings that might help us get to the bottom of this.
Also the Reason we closed this issue was because we asked for Information 16 days ago and we thought it worked itself out for you with the Nightly Build.

This is especially rich since the recent Firefox update to '64.02' included this update..and I quote directly;
64.02 Update
Fixed video stuttering on Youtube (bug 1513511)
so way to be disingenuous at best, and if you weren't so busy trying to be condescending, maybe you could ACTUALLY fix some problems in the browser! It also was hilarious to read you guys saying that, when youtube reported back it was a FF issue, and there is comments all over the web talking about how it was happening. But you go on ignoring factual reporting of trouble, and FF will go on losing user share of the browser market.
