User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:63.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/63.0 Steps to reproduce: Open Joomla! Backend environment. I used version Joomla! 3.9.1 Stable [ Amani ] 27-November-2018 15:00 GMT but very very likely older versions will do the same. Edited an article using the JCE editor. (I ued version 2.6.33) but again older versions will do the same. I selected an image within the article. Actual results: You could see the image was selected, but the resize handles on all corners (and middle) of the image were not shown. Expected results: The handles should be present and active. The happened using Firefox 64.0. Downgrading to Firefox 63.0.3 solved the problem. Upgrading to 64.0 recreated the problem. I assume similar effect will be present in other webenvironments where picture resizing can be done
Hi, I have installed Joomla_3.8.13 Stable Full Package and JCE editor 2.6.35 and using Firefox 64.0 and Nightly 66.0a1 (2018-12-23) I was unable to reproduce this issue when I'm editing the article and click any of the photos I Added, I'm always getting the Corner resize handles. Can you please update the JCE to 2.6.35 and try this issue again, also you can try our latest Nightly build you can find here https://nightly.mozilla.org/ and see if the issue still occurs on your end.
Hi Rares, I have been using Firefox 63.0.3 for a couple of days since I reported the above bug. Last Saterday I clicked on the update button in Firefox by accident, as I result I got the 64.0. I decided (without much hope) to check if the problem was solved. To my surprise I found the problem had disappeared. I did not have the opportunity yesterday to enter this info into Bugzilla, I am sorry for that. I am using JCE 2.6.35 now which I installed on Saturday as well. Regretfully I cannot tell you whether the problem was solved due to the JCE or the Firefox version update. I could try to find this out, if you think it is worth the effort. If not I suggest we close this report. Best Regards Frank
That's great news, I'm glad it worked out, I will Close this issue as Works for Me.
