Steps to reproduce:

- about:addons
- Click Extensions tab
- Search my list of extensions


Actual results:

The search bar only allows me to "Search addons.mozilla.org", not installed extensions.


Expected results:

The ability to "search installed extensions" from my list of installed extensions.

The search bar could previously be switched between "installed" and "find new". But this option was removed at some point within the last year or so, creating a UI regression.

I feel that "search addons.mozilla" belongs in the "Get Add-ons" tab (this request is tracked at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1307386 ), while I should be able to search installed extensions from the Extensions tab.

I have dozens of extensions (enabled AND disabled), and scanning them by eye is very difficult. Additionally Ctrl+L Ctrl+F (find in page) is disabled (maybe it once delivered zero results).
The UI was changed in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1263313 .
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1504396 was marked as duplicate of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=868705 (which is impossible. The latter bug was filed BEFORE https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1263313 created the former bug).

Bug 868705, comment 1 clearly states it's being closed as Wontfix because of bug 1263313.
Bug 1109477 was also closed as Wontfix for the same reason.
