Select a message in the SENT box which includes an attachment 2 [review]. Select 'Edit as new Message' 3. Click in the attachment box (not on the attachment but in the white space) Actual results: Thunderbird hangs Expected results: Nothing

I can't answer that as this machine is still Win 7 Professional ...

In safe mode it behaves as you describe. I then restarted normally, and (following a few seconds' wait after clicking - less than I ever waited before), it also behaves as you describe. Guess it's my system: sorry for wasting your time.
