User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.13; rv:64.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/64.0 Steps to reproduce: If Firefox is pinned to the Dock and the close windows on quit in General Settings is disabled, Firefox will try to restore the window from the previous session when first launched. Actual results: This produces and amazingly annoying animation the first time it is launched (attached video). Expected results: The window should animate smoothly from the Dock once, not twice. This behaviour started in early 2018, I didn't report as it is an annoyance and also difficult to describe. However since no one has reported after 12 months I feel I ought to point it out. This will put off switchers as it looks really peculiar. I gave up on Chrome because of this sort of behaviour a few years ago.

Problem gone away for me in 68.0.1 I don't know whether it's resolved completely but I would imagine it was something to do with launcher behaviour on macOS (work was ongoing looking at bugzilla so perhaps ?accidently? resolving this)

Thanks for letting us know!
