LDAP replication actually doesn't require user name and password in 'Address
Book LDAP Replication' dialog to continue to access the directory server. You
can leave 'User name' & 'Password' empty or type whatever user name and password
to continue to replicate the server.
Replication should behave as support for "auth / Log in with user name and
password" in LDAP addressbook / LDAP autocomplete.

That's because the servers inside netscape are configured to allow enough access
for anonymous replication. So this is actually functioning correctly.
