Steps to reproduce:
This is a feature request. I was previously using the add on 'Blunder Delay'. This enabled me to set a time interval for when my outbox would empty, which I set to every 5 minutes. It is much quicker to press CTRL+SHIFT+RETURN to put the email in your outbox than it is to press CTRL+ENTER and send the email, especially when you are sending attachments.
I send over 100 emails a day and being able to save a second or two an email makes a big difference. Also if I realise I have made a mistake or want to make an edit I still have the chance to rectify.
As I say, I was previously using the add on 'Blunder Delay', but this is no longer compatible in the latest version of Thunderbird.

You keep commenting that this is a duplicate of another bug and then on the other bug commenting that it is yet a duplicate of another bug. Is this feature actually going to get looked into or am I wasting my time?

I dont know what you are talking about. I made one duplicate.
As for fixing - that is in someone else's hands I don't contorol. But I can say AFAIK this isn't on anyone's current roadmap.
