Details |
The color of visited links (purple) is very close to the black of normal text. This makes it hard to distinguish text that is linkified if the link has already been visited. See attached screenshot, the paragraph has two links in it but it's hard to tell.
This wasn't a problem pre-markdown because you couldn't have arbitrary text linkified, it was always obviously a link. Plus I think the fixed-width font is thicker in non-markdown so the color difference is more apparent.

Looks like this has been solved in Bug 1518268. The link colour remains the same as unvisited, and I think that’s fine; many modern apps don’t change the :visited
link colour, I guess.
