This is filed separately for the purpose of tracking, but it is probably shouldn't be worked on independently.

A base class mixin is needed for replacing basetext implementation so that the converted CEs from bindings that inherits the basetext binding can also inherit the same thing.

It would be like the basecontrol mixin to be landed in bug 1518932.

Already converted, but we need to remove all XBL inherited bindings before this can be removed. Bug can be filed to track dependency.
