Steps to reproduce:

A) With Thunderbird closed: right click on a file -> "Send to" -> "Mail recipient"

B) With Thunderbird open: right click on a file -> "Send to" -> "Mail recipient"

Actual results:

A) Nothing happens

B) Thunderbird crashes

Expected results:

A/B) A new Thunderbird message with the attached file should open
