Steps to reproduce:

1. Open YouTube
2. Perform a search
3. Tap on a link
4. Go to the tabs tray

Actual results:

The home page is still displayed

Expected results:

The current page should be visible

Hello, thanks for your report. I can confirm this issue using Motorola Nexus 6 (Android 7.1.1) and OnePlus 5T (Android 8.1.0) on all branches:
-Nightly (2019-01-20);
-Beta 65.0b12;
-Release 64.0.2.

Notes:
-The issue disappears if you refresh the page.
-Also, I tried to find a regression for this issue but I wasn't able. The latest version tested for this issue is 46.0a1.
