bug 1518664 Fixed displaying the Chromecast button for Android 8 and lower. We still see some problems with Android 9.

Str:

Using a Chromecast 2 and Firefox for Android casting a video broke.

• Have a configured Chromecast and Firefox for Android on the same network
• Open https://archive.org/download/Automoti1940 in Firefox
• Tap Automoti1940_512kb.mp4

Expected:

• cast icon appears in the url bar

Actual:

• no cast icon in the url bar

This is broken on 64 where bug 1483656 introduced the problem.

Another thing I wanted to mention is we actually advertise this in the verbiage at the Google Play Store:

"Take it to the Big Screen"
-Send video and Web Content from your smartphone or tablet to any TV equipped with supported streaming capabilities.

Hi, I tried to reproduce this issue using Google Pixel (Android 9) and OnePlus 5T (Android 9) but I wasn't able.

Devices:
-OnePlus 5T (Android 9);
-Google Pixel (Android 9).

Notes:
I tried several times to reproduce this issue but without any success.

Hi, sorry for the confusion. I wanted to point out that the cast icon appears in the url bar and the functionality works as expected.
