Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to Settings>Search
  2. Turn off "Show Search Suggestions"
  3. Open a new browser tab
  4. Start typing in the URL bar

Actual results:

Search suggestions are shown.

For example, I type 'f' and facebook.com is shown.
Here are some others:

'p' -> 'pinterest.com'
'c' -> 'craigslist.org'
'cab' -> 'cabelas.com'

Expected results:

No search results are shown when typing in the URL bar after disabling search suggestions.

Hello and thank you for your report,

The function that you are describing is the URL autocomplete(formfill) not the Search Suggestions feature.

As far as I know, there is no option to disable formfill on iOS.

I will be closing this as it is not an actual issue.
